Steve King Update
Sorry if this has been covered but The Doc on MMM said that King has no tear to his hammy and was taken off with tightness. He also said it depends on training this week and may play, but I guess they wont risk it.
Before Im 85
yeah he said it was more back spasms down his hamstring. I would think that they wont take him to adelaide and he'll be back for the richmond match.

5 prelims in 7 years. 40 wins from 49 games.
2009 and 2010 were 2 of the 5 best years ever by the St.Kilda FC.
Thanks for all your efforts Saints.

I concur.aussierules0k wrote:I still can't get over how lucky we are to get Kingy.... or how stupid the Cats were to let him go. It was no coincidence we dropped off V bummbers after he left the field. Hail the mighty King.
Geelong fans I know would still prefer him over M. Blake, notwithstanding Blake is having a very good year so far.

The ABC on Friday night said it was his thigh rather than his hammy,at the moment it appears its somewhere between his back and his knee...
Rix might get a game although the way Port is giving it to the Eagles, the less C Grade players in the team the better...........
In fact the less C grade players on the list the better we'll be......

Will we pick up a player in the SSP window
Im not sure they care at all. They had no choice as it was either King or Blake. One is 22 the other is 30. They made the right call for sure.aussierules0k wrote:I still can't get over how lucky we are to get Kingy.... or how stupid the Cats were to let him go. I wouls assume Nick and Sam would have scans tomorrow if not already this weekend.
Rixy withdrawn from todays Scorpions game and appeared to be walking with pain/ stiffness-
where's Luke VR at ?

Yeppo. Been in the system since he was 16. Taken young as part of the compensation thingy with Freo entering the comp. Essendon got Lloyd under the same circumstances !!
Not sure about that. What if MG breaks down during the game? We'd be stuffed for this game and for the next however many that King AND MG might be out for.St Chris wrote:I heard on Saturday (triple m i think) that M Gardiner could be right, would be a much better option at 90% than rix at 110%.
110% Rix for 100% gametime > 90% MG for 50% gametime
Hird... The unflushable one is now... just a turd...

Rix for 100% gametime = very very scary.Richter wrote:Not sure about that. What if MG breaks down during the game?
