'What do we eat? -Mussles
How do we eat 'em? - Alive'
How do we eat 'em? - Alive'
No problem with that.
It's a factual statement.
It also mentions in the paragraph before as describing him as a "former All Australian" etc.
Just extra descriptive padding from the writer.
You need to get worried when it is factually incorrect not when it is right.

"I certainly didn't mean to hit him high or to cause damage the way I did for him to be off for the rest of the game."
didnt mean to hit him high?
u swung at head height u idiot.
and now he needs screws and plates in a broken wrist......heaven help the next bloke that gets belted with his right hand....
Staker was lucky it was a left handed hit.
brain freeze LOL....no he just got frustrated because staker was poking and niggling him.
the size of hall, nothing should really be bothering him and he should let his attack at the ball do the talking, not his fists.
10 weeks is about the right penalty.....anything less aint going to send a message to other players and children that watch and play the game

Yep I read that quote and smiled, but then I realized that the author of that article is Tim Morrissey(spelling?), the 'Sydney AFL erxpert' and stopped worrying about it.osama milne laden wrote:http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/story/ ... 61,00.html

IMHO he makes Cornesy and KG look 'balanced' in terms of home town team bias.
If there was anything good to write about Hall I'm sure Morrissey would never have mentioned that he had played previously with us.

I think the point trying to be made is that they only mention him as a 'former Saint' when he has 'sinned'.st_Trav_ofWA wrote:ummm we still claim Plugger as ours and hes been a swan for years now you gotta take the good with the badsnoopygirl wrote:And of course they have to link it back to him being a former St Kilda "hard man". Whenever he does something good he is Sydney, Sydney, Sydney and no mention of Saints.
When Plugger was up and firing the Sydney media very rarely referred to him as 'former Saint'.
When Nick Davis beat Geelong in teh 2004 Prelim he was referred to as Sydney's Nick Davis, but ewhen he was 'dropped' for disciplinary reasons I'll bet he was referred to as 'former Magpie'.

In fact all of Barry's rage can be attributed to his playing time at the saints. Upon further investigation you can specifically blame stkilda for Barry's action.snoopygirl wrote:And of course they have to link it back to him being a former St Kilda "hard man". As a result Lenny Hayes will be suspended for 8 weeks and stkilda fined $10,000 for Barry's actions.
