More selfish please

What' s the trend these days with players dishing off or chipping to another player even within 45 metres of goal? It was good at the start, but I challenge our players to take the shot more often. Take responsibility and drill it. Scoring assists are ok, but actual scores are so much better.

That would be part of it for sure. Maybe they just need to realize they are being paid regardless of what they do so just have a shot. When a few start going through their confidence will lift.

Cats were lining up to have a ping from outside 50 in the 3rd. Didn't miss too many either. Not telling anyone anything they don't already know, sure, but jeez they just do it on their ear. Thats confidence for you. At the moment we don't have much and even the Richmonds and Carltons don't fear us.

i remember a game in 04 when we kicked 12 goals in a row at the start of the game, and the commentators made a joke of it when we finally registered a behind. Players trusted their abilities on goal then, there is no reason why we cannot get back to that kind of level. Just gotta make it a natural thing again.
Fraser just goes back and kicks them, doesn't think about missing. And it's no coincidence he is our most accurate. It's natural to him, when the rest get a grasp on that things will be fine.
