Harve's - the club must act!
Akers on 7 news talking about "family jewels" & basically calling Harve's a liar. Know that Aker is a tool but St.Kilda as a club must come out strongly in defence of a player who epitomises great sportsmanship and is held in respect by all. This is an absolute slur on our champion!!

Knackermanis is just a mouth. not one supporter that i've spoken to about this believes it is something that harvey would stoop to.

I can understand your concern regarding Harves reputation but the club want to rest it ... "The Saints refused to comment last night, saying they did not want to inflame the incident further in the lead-up to their clash against Geelong at the Dome on Saturday." - HeraldSunjill wrote:Akers on 7 news talking about "family jewels" & basically calling Harve's a liar. we have bigger issues to deal with like the game against the cats...
going on about something minute like this will only relive the performance of last friday evening...
better we all just forget, let aka say whatever the hell he wants and we look forward
we could afford to laugh and engage in a slanging match if we won, but we didnt so we shut our collective mouths and focus on our task of dismantelin the premiers

Maybe the Cheer Squad could have some mention of Acker's Jatz Crackers on the banner?

There's too many boring robotic players everywhere.
This is all a joke and i'm sure the great man understands.
Maybe he does maybe he doesn't that really doesn't matter what do the public believe thats whats going on here smearing his name publicly.
Which part of "He grabbed my nuts" could be interpreted as anything else but a complaint?satchmo wrote:aker said on sen that he had never said it was intentional, he never complained to the umpire, and he never asked for it to be investigated...he's the victim. Poor tool.
And if it was nothing to complain about, why did he play it up in the media?

big deal, who cares, the AFL didn't suspend him, so it's all over as I far as I'm concerned.
Children, don't you understand it's just a big media huff and puff?
They have to have a story that drags for a few days to fill in the week!
Just look at tunnelling after round 1......look at it now, it doesn't even get mentioned!
Those dementia-riddled journos will have completely forgotton the whole incident come Friday night!

Not only would the great man not do that, but he couldn't do that, Acker doesn't have anyGrumpyOne wrote:Which part of "He grabbed my nuts" could be interpreted as anything else but a complaint?satchmo wrote:aker said on sen that he had never said it was intentional, he never complained to the umpire, and he never asked for it to be investigated...he's the victim. What upset me most on news was "journalists" laughing at Akers comments - yes is a media build up, yes the next game is more important, yes majority of footy fans will side with Harve's BUT want club to finally stand up & DEFEND/BE OUTRAGED - if it had been Bucks at coll would Eddy have stayed silent? The Club needs to show some passion too!
Aside from that, what's he ever done!saintsrus wrote:To be fair Aker has a brownlow and 3 premiershipsFurphy wrote:Harvs has been an ornament to the game for 20 years, (two Brownlows prove it) which is more than I can say for that modern day "jacko" impersonator
But great comparison re Jacko

You can't help but applaud Mr Knackermanis!
His ploy of complaining about being grabbed by the nuts took all our attention away from his more serious action of kicking with two legs, footy stops to the chest of one Robert Harvey!
Did the match review panel review this - I didn't see anything written that they reviewed that action.
If Harvey has been cleared of any "nut" handling, then surely Mr Knackermanis's Kong Fu attempt should be reviewed by the match committee!!!
Nooooo its ok to react under provocation.........according to the umpires and AFL.

The thought of anyone touching Aker there makes me want to throw up. Harvey is a respected family man and it's a disgrace he even has to defend himself against accusations like this.
