Just as we should never get too carried away with one win, one loss does not make a season either. Without doubt, the loss exposed some weaknesses, especially in relation to the opposition. Fortunately, there is only one other team in the AFL which has similar strengths to match the Dogs. Unfortunately, we play them this week.
Our first quarter seemed to provide artificial comfort to a number of players and lethargy seemed the order of the night (call it the flu). It would be nice if all of our players were perfect in every way but they are not, like players in every other team.
Let's see how the team manages the challenge of Geelong before we bag them too much. Even if we lose, which to be honest I expect, there will always be the following week. We are St Kilda supporters after all.
