During games that is, MG being the exception. Fantastic stuff though, looks like our luck has turned, in the form of growing a brain and hiring some good fitness and recovery staff.

Well MG is a pretty big exception !!!!!!
He was dominant against Carltoon.
We sorely missed him against the Dogs.
King was pretty ineffective.
Last week Gardiner had quite a high "effective %" of tapouts to advantage according to the stats - far far higher than King.
That enabled us to get first use of the ball.
This week.
Without Gardi's hitouts to advantage the Bulldogs midfield got on top after 1/4 time.
Two consequences
- they were the ones moving it quickly into their forward line to their advantage
- our movements forward were indirect giving them time to get numbers back, spoil the marking attempts, and our lack of crumbers saw them effortlessly sweep it away.
We only had 2 less inside 50s.
But our inside 50s has little method or purpose.
Most of them were doomed before they began.

The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.
