Worst and Best...

Thought I'd start another thread to go with the other 50 billion that seem to have been created tonight....

Best quarter of play I have seen form the Saints. The handballs were magnificent, the play making was superb. It was fantastic around the ground, quickly getting it into the forward line.

Followed by the three worst quarters of football under RL.

Ironic.

PS. And can people get off our backline....They did not lose us the game. They are the reason the dogs didn't kick 40 goals.

Plain and simple we got ahead of ourselves.

Uonly have to drop ur game and be off the boil by 5 percent and u'll get destroyed at afl level.

my mate said it was like the iraq war

shock and awe in the first quarter ... in which we steamrolled them and should have finished them off.

followed by a guerilla war ... in which we had our pants pulled down and were spanked.

i'm at a loss to know what happened or why after quarter time.

it is as if we shut up shop and tried to protect our lead.

this team needs to rediscover how to go for the jugular.

Too many of our players thought we had the game won at quarter time...and stopped.

First quarter the Dogs were harried verywhere.

Second quarter on....we game them space as we stopped running hard. that allowed them to get goung.

They also creamed as in the midfield...and up forward ou two cumbersome 3 tall forward line becamea liabilyt....if no mark the ball was rebounded easily.

Need to just have 2 talls an not 3.


Dogs were very good after quarter time...whereses the Saints had more passengers than Connex in peak hour.
