in all honesty I think our best 22 looks very good, but our emergency look a bit think with charlie, and clint.

raph has talent but is probably at least 2 to 3 months away from realising it.

Apparently confirmed. As I suspected, teams will be selected in accordance with who we play. Doggies have a smallish, pacy forward line - so Raph goes out. If it had been the Hawks - maybe he stays in??

Anyways - as close to full strength as I can remember. Only Bakes and Goose still to come in.

I want to stand for something. I'm a loyal person and I think at the end of my career it will be great to look back and know that I'm a St Kilda person for life.

That's the Best 25* the Saints have put together for a long long time. Possible best ever...

*On paper - very good. Getting it done on Friday is another story.

Don't forget Goose, he needs to come back too. Can't keep the team exactly like that.

Thank you.
To me that's the right move by RL. To be honest, BJ should have played last week against the blues who have a much less zippy overall side. This would have provided a great opportunity for BJ to find his feet.

Don't agree. We have a special side when fully fit & i'm certain that we dont need to play horses for courses.
Teams will be looking at ways to combat our strengths rather than having us tayloring our side

Goose and Baker.....both likely inclusions in a best 22....but will be a mighty tough decision on who gets omitted...

mm interesting scenario

Bakes could possibly come in for Geary, and I think Fiora may even be at risk on his return...
As for making way for Goose - the only person I can think of could possibly be Blake...
Surely Ross wouldn't drop a Ruck ???

Thoughts?????? (assuming no injuries)

If everyone speeds, why haven't you been overtaken?

Its about time he was dropped, that being Raph. I have said since i started in this forum that he should be dropped and its about time, i dont see him getting back in the team for a while as two of our certain starters will be back in hopefully r4 and 5

Ross should not drop one of our ruckman, we have worked too long without ruckman to jsut go and drop one of them

Agree Solar. I also hope that he makes every effort to force his way back into the team by virtue of consistently good performances for Casey.

Happy to see BJ back.

Good to see BJ back.

As mentioned earlier in thread was hitting his peak at time of injury.

Must bear in mind that most coming back from ACL take time to hit straps.

Lenny a prime example....

BJ most likely will as well.

I think Raph is coming along ok.....unlike some posters.

Will be disappointed not being with his brother for 100th....

I'm also disappointed that Raph got the chop, I see a huge upside to him and believe we are lucky to have him. You only have to look at his brother, plenty were ready to write him off but a bit more maturity, a good fitness base and run with injuries and we're starting to see why he was a high draft pick.

I have absolute faith in RL's judgement and can only summise that the entire list is well aware of what's required and expected to wear the jumper whilst under his reign.

I cannot complain about his replacement, good luck on your return BJ.
