Saints lose the post

Post: # 541117Post Unforgiven »

Haha on Channel 10 news, the extreme winds around melbourne today snapped one of the goal posts at Morrabin. Hopefully find a picture somewhere tomorrow.

They loosened it, which allowed the wind to blow it out of the ground.

ALso the big steel poles holding the net up flew down, and some corrigated iron. Morrabin is literally falling apart today.

Had a snippet of them ''training'' on the news, they went out in the wind because they had no alternative place to train. Just had them running a lap and have a giggle.

That should help Roo & Kosi improve their kicking for goal - double the width they used to have!

Wouldn't have hurt anyone then if it hit them.

vision on TEn had the goal post over- the netting posts only being held by the netting and the light tower racking-
But then what wasn't rocking today- no trucks on westgate as many of you would ahve realised when you tried to go home.

Ross said they missed out on MSAC because two other teams beat them -to the phone I guess.

While you are correcting people pwoit, you missed the spelling of Moorabbin

"Morrabin" :)

Sorry Saint Corin, most people seem to spell Moorabbin incorrectly.
