hall and goodes play for the same team which is pretty perculiar.
very poor i think the afl need to take a step back and take a look at themselfs.

I'm beyond getting angry at the lack of a level playing field in the AFL...
It doesn't matter anyway folks.... the Swines are on the way down.... if we can't finish in front of them (with or without Goodes), it doesn't matter, we won't be good enough.
When DIMWIT finishes his tenure at the AFL, and wonders why he isn't like the rest of Corporate Australia, and doesn't get a front-line gig at a significant organisation, he can look back to a whole host of decisions such as this which mean he (and his cronies) have NO CREDIBILITY in the real world.
Failure cannot succeed in the face of persistence......

We all saw what happened last time Goodes went to the tribunal.
His case will go something like....
Goodes: "I just punched the air and the Port player jumped into that air. How is it possibly my fault??"
Tribunal: "Sorry to interrupt, but do you play for a Victorian Club Adam??"
Goodes: "No, your Hon....."
(Can't even finish his sentence before the hammer is dropped)
Tribunal: Not guilty.
HAHAHAH exactly.
They are so keen to keep supporters happy up there they probably buy their memberships for them.
as from dimwit demitriou he said that the afl was trying to be forst into western sydney out of all the footballing codes and since the nrl is celebrating its 100th year anniversary someone better tell the dimmwit that hes 100 years to late.

After I wrote that, the Swans gave me a call and asked if I'd lead the defence. I said no, and they said they have ways of making me talk....
I get home that night and there's a brand new toyota in the driveway, a brown paper bag on the front seat, and a note that says "See you on Tuesday night, Regards, AD".
I'm sorry guys, but money talks, and I wouldn't have done it if they played the Saints this week.
basically sydney have been given a license to do whatever they want as long as they succeed.
as long as the $$ keep rolling into sydney they can rape kittens for the all the AFL cares.
same with drugs, alcohol, abuse, violence etc.
the AFL is more interested in the brand than the club, or even the welfare of the players.
if a player were to keel over from a drug overdose and die, the club would spend more on injunctions and covering it up, than they would have spent on prevention and education tbh.
Sydney is the biggest and wealthiest city in Australia, thats been true for 30 odd years and the CEO's and the headquarters of most our major corporations are there now.
its where the money is.
thats all Demetriou cares about.
Goodes, hall, bolton, Roos, they are the brand trademarks of Swans.
Frank Hall could do a massive shyt in the middle of the MCG and spear his opposition into it and the AFL will take out an injunction to cover it up.
As I said about 2 years ago and re-iterated, its about st kilda for me, the other clubs can die for all I care. Melbourne's plight? I laugh, Sydney's injuries to keneally, I don't care, the Roos image and brand dragged through the mud, not my problem.

Goodes is now free to equal the Swans consecutive games record. A record that, hopefully, will be forever tainted.
no one remembers anything but the winners.
and goodes is a winner as far as the money men care.
same as hall.

I'm missing plugger66, this was about the time he would step forward and defend everything the AFL.... I must say without that we seem to be getting a little paranoid, myself included.

2013 trade/draft best ever?
Billings - future brownlow medallist Longer - future best ruck
Dunstan - future captain Eli - future cult hero
Acres - future norm smith
So Adam is a dual Brownlow medal winner?
Yes
So he is a player of quality standing?
Yes
So each time he goes to the tribunal he gets off because he is a player of quality standing?
Yes - that's about the size of it
MATTHEWS LAUNCHES ATTACK ON GOODES
Friday, April 4th, 2008 at 3:43 pm
BY ANDREW LOWTHER
FOUR-TIME premiership coach Leigh Matthews has launched a scathing attack on dual Brownlow Medallist Adam Goodes before Brisbane’s clash with Sydney this weekend.
Matthews labelled Goodes a ‘protected species’ in a press conference in Brisbane this afternoon.
“Many players are envious of Adam Goodes for many reasons. We hope his protected species status ends when he crosses the white line.
“I don’t know about the umpires (protecting Goodes), but (at) the tribunal he certainly is.
“Plus he plays for the Swans so he’s got the double whammy. And he’s got the Brownlow Medallists ‘get out of jail free’ card so he’s got them all,â€
