Reiwoldt needs to play further up the ground.
Clearly from this tonights display ( and an opinion long held by me, on the proviso that all players were fit ) is that Reiwoldt needs to play further up the ground on the wing ala the performance he put in against Adelaide playing there a couple of years back.
Reiwoldt is not a goal kicking forward ... was put there and then gradually played deeper as a necessity through injury and lack of other focal points. Just looking at his strengths ... Engine, work rate and kicking to position. His weaknesses are that he isn't a great contested grab ( as a focal point at CHF always players dropping back in the hole ) , poor set shot and his work rate and engine and constantly wasted after numerous leads and double backs only to be inaccurate in front of goal.
The sooner he is played up the ground and have the like of Goddard and himself not to mention Dal, Monty and co. delivering it lace out to Gehrig and Kosi the better ......

Yeah. we've seen him kick hauls of 6 before, but he needs to roam up the wings more. In the last quater he was better, got some movement and played a bit better, but was VERY underdone tonight. Probably the worst I have ever seen him to be honest. Was he 100% fit? I mean, he has had no injury concerns over the last 2-3 weeks, but could he have a virus or something, kinda like when Fraser carried one for 3-4 weeks last year?

I don't think Kosi is the type of player that you put somewhere EVERY game.Spinner wrote:Stick him at CHB and he will dominate EVERY game.
He's a genuine utility.
Some weeks he'd be ideal up forward, some he wouldn't (as he's not a very good natural forward - good defenders maul him), some weeks he'd be a perfect CHB, others a great loose man down back.
He has made a name for himself as one of the competition's premier CHFs, and his lack of kicking ability is exaggerated.
During the NAB Cup we were complimenting his kicking. He has a bad game (still takes ten marks and kicks two goals though) and misses a set shot that he should have kicked so now he's not a goal kicking forward.
Lace out to Gehrig and Kosi?
Let's get realistic. How long do you imagine Gehrig is going to be there for? And if Roo is a poor kick for goal, what the hell is Kosi?
You're talking about moving Roo up the ground. I agree he should push up further then he did tonight (it was when he started to do this in the last quarter that his game improved) but Kosi does not belong anywhere near the goals.

is it worth moving him to a wingon occasion? With a guy like Waite on him let him roam the whole ground with Kosi, Gtrain and Charlie as the tall forwards and Gardi kings occasionally resting there to let Kosi to ruck.
