...and the trend of losing final quarters continued last week.....
I would LOVE to see us blow an opposing team off the park....but it doesn't seem to be happening.
Odds for a 60+ win.

On the flipside, it's important our losses are small also when considering percentage.iwantmeseats wrote:Well we AINT going to win every game, not even close, so % is VERY important.
It's not all about flogging sides.....a very tight defense and conceding minimal points helps percentage very significantly.
ie. it's better to win by 10 points with a 70 to 60 points scoreline than 120 to 110 points scoreline percentage-wise (but more boring to watch!!!).
i am Melbourne Skies - sometimes Blue Skies, Grey Skies, even Partly Cloudy Skies.

I remember at the end of the year Oh When the Saints started a thread how our style of play dictates that we may lose games or win games, but never by more than five goals. This is a cleverly structured plan, because all you need is one or two really big wins and just limit the amount of scoring each week and the percentage will be high - also, if we are close enough to win games, it will do our confidence a world of good.
This is how Sydney has been with such good percentage the last few years.
