...and the trend of losing final quarters continued last week.....

I would LOVE to see us blow an opposing team off the park....but it doesn't seem to be happening.

It's not all about flogging sides.....a very tight defense and conceding minimal points helps percentage very significantly.

ie. it's better to win by 10 points with a 70 to 60 points scoreline than 120 to 110 points scoreline percentage-wise (but more boring to watch!!!).

I remember at the end of the year Oh When the Saints started a thread how our style of play dictates that we may lose games or win games, but never by more than five goals. This is a cleverly structured plan, because all you need is one or two really big wins and just limit the amount of scoring each week and the percentage will be high - also, if we are close enough to win games, it will do our confidence a world of good.

This is how Sydney has been with such good percentage the last few years.
