Footy Flashbacks

Post: # 537505Post st_nick »

While looking for a picture of the old mascot from the mid 90s for another thread, I dug out an old "Football '94" sticker book and a few cards from the 1990 Stimorol Chewing Gum footy card collection and thought I'd post them for a bit of nostalgia.
My favourite of the lot would have to be the card for the "most promising youngster who is expected to go a long way in the game", 16-gamer going into his third season, Robert Harvey.

I used to have a whole deck of the cards, almost every card in the set, but all I could find now was these St Kilda ones, Gary Ablett, Dipper and a signed Jason Dunstall.
I have the full set of the sticker book, if anyone is interested in seeing any of the other teams. It surprised me to see how many current/recent coaches, both senior and assistant, came out of that era. Back then I didn't take as much notice of other teams' players...

ive spent way to much money on saints cards :?
i have about 115 doubles starting from 94 up to 2007 including a double of the Riewoldt GEM that came out in the Select 07 Champion series, if anyone is interested in trading.

just wondering why no ones started a trade/swap thread before.

so your best bet is finding a book shop or ordering online.
