a couple of things to note from sat night

Post: # 536928Post Solar »

apologies if any of this has already been talked about but the biggest things that came from the game was

1) Micheal "underbelly" Gardiner kept showing those things that suggest a couple of months of football under his belt will allow him the fitness to be a top 10 ruckman in the comp. 23% effective hit outs and one bit of play where he received a ball, handed it off to a smaller runner and put on a shepard. Shame he missed that goal from 15 out, would have put the icing on a very good debut for the club.

2) maxy's hammys. He got through the whole game uninjured, in fact the whole team did!! We will be dropping FIT players for the first time in a long time.

3)Fishers job of goodes. Great work by fish and shows that our depth is very good

4) we debuted a rookie in geary who did very well off half back and made up for a quiet gram.

5) we didn't get run over.

No Gram at training today.

Not that that means much. He does so much running during a game that he doesn't need to do too much during the week.

I must say it wasn't a game that suited grams game. Seemed to follow buccanon and o'keefe around all night.
