I did receive a complaint via pm from someone else but the Brad Johnson thread had already been locked by another mod. I was actually referring to the objections within the thread. I'm sure you'd be quite shocked Matrix at some of the things we get complaints about. As are we.

I agree, if people were reasonable and didn't bag out threads and hi-jack them, that particular thread would be on site page 3 by now and all but forgotten.

My god man i've been bagging opposition players as far back as I can remember and i dont intend to change because u and ur friendly society want to have a little love in.

If you want to post without any chance of people disagreeing then perhaps u should start ur own forum - or perhaps u could move to a chat room?

Matrixcutter, we actually had another forum to discuss other clubs/players, not sure why it was removed. Perhaps we could look at getting it up & running again as their seems to be a lot of angst about discussing other teams on this forum.

Would strongly support it, I don't want to be one of those supporters who only rate their own...
I love talking about all teams players and I'm sick of people always going on and on about how it is a st.kilda forum, we will play other teams from time to time so they kind of are relevant.
But to be honest it's probably not necessary, this is a St.Kilda based fan forum, that doesn't mean that we can't talk about others, if anything it is an even stronger sign of respect that he got a mention. If you don't want to talk about another player don't post, it was intended to be a thread to congratulate a great player on a great game but thanks to a certain poster it was ruined...

CB18 I was told the other day that 64% of all statistics are made up, but only 34% of the population know that and of them only 14% give a sh!t.

FYI paddy I don't have a problem with reproducing here what you PM'd me - don't know why you did - but am happy to reproduce your efforts and my replies.

Basically cos I would never put up with your insipid performance in a workplace or a social environment.

If you were in my environment and you butted in like you did I would so deal with it in a different manner to what you are obviously used to.

The fact that here - when you had so many opportunities to back down and apologise - but you didn't, drills it home who you really are.

Mate I had a jibe at Brad Johnson because i felt that any post on a St Kilda forum that champions an opposition player deserves some terrace style 'balance' - if anyone hijacked the thread it was ur good self with ur dozens of (mostly absurd) replies and moans.

Am I right or are we talking about a thread on a fan forum? - a fan forum that is about posting threads and having other punters respond to them both positively and negatively - butting in to a thread is surely, by nature, what a fan forum is all about?

This is not your work place Iceman nor is it a social environment - it is a forum where mostly anonymous people come to post their views - and they do so at their own peril.

The thread that you refer was quite rightly locked by the mods when it lost its way but this wasn't good enough so u started another and spent your evening replying to ur own posts so as to vent ur spleen.

It seems apparent to me that you have a self importance issue of the highest order and an anger management issue that need some serious attention.

PS: I notice you dont have a problem with anyone bagging out Raph Clarke - Just good old Johno huh? - weird!

PPS - Here's an interesting stat - of the 43 posts in this thread the Iceman is responsible for 21 - meaning that almost 50% of responses to a thread started by himself are indeed by himself (strange in itself and would seem to suggest that, like an old woman with too many cats, he's talking to himself ) - Can someone with a calculator, or a head for this kind of thing, give the dear fellow the percentages of people who are quite clearly telling him "We Don't Care...MOVE ON"
