No Injuries BUT ..........

Post: # 535151Post saintbrat »

How many times was X down and nearly out- knee in 1st qurt
something in the 3rd and flat out again in the last.

Nick's back may be ginger after landing on or near his ehad so many times,

It was obviously fairly warm out there - the guys were all heading for the watered towels on their breaks.

I was quite uncomfortable in shorts and a T-Shirt...
I feel heat a ridiculous amount more than most people but still, running around in that heat you would severely struggle running about...

Nick had his legs taken out from underneath him in marking contests a few times. I think the tactics used against him are setting a very dangerous precedent that the AFL should act on immediately.

X was holding his shoulder when he got up after that 3rd Q incident. I think he copped a heavy knock to the side of the head in the 4th !!

according to the guy behind me xavier did a knee, a shoulder and concussion... I think we have got to a stage where we think the worst!

Typical bruising game but thankfully we got that out of the way and it will be more a running game the next two weeks against the tankers and dogs

I'm pretty sure the AFL brought in a rule last year that the roof be closed for all night games...I reckon it needs a "lovely balmy night in March" clause though :-)

TD per se cant open the roof..they have to wait for instructions from the ground hirers

TV showed X in the rooms after the game.
He had a big ice pack on his right shoulder and although not so clear an ice pack somewhere on his right leg.
Sickney went out of their way to smash our running players.
Gutter thug Hall led the way with a stomach punch on Gram but the corrupt AFL investigators will probably conclude that Gram ran into Hall's fist and report Gram for striking Hall's fist with his stomach.

As we should do with any opposition's running players if the opportunity arises.

Dal said in the Victory Room after the match that it was very warm on the ground and that dehydration was an issue for the players.

despite all his aches and pains at the rehab session this morning- the requisite dip into the bay X was not looking like he was being coerced into getting in further down than the waist.

I was going to make a thread just like this.

X.Clarke wtf...

I've seen dozens of ACL/PCL injures just like his incident in the 1st quarter. Very similar to Harvey's actually. But he was ok.

Then i was sure as hell he'd dislocated/broken his shoulder in the last. But he got up again.

It will be a miracle if x.clarke can put together 5 games in a row.
