Dont think that team on the footy show has any bearing to do with the real team.

Would not surprise me at all. Has played well at Casey. No strapping on the knee, in and under packs, running at full tilt and still has the long kick. Is ready to play imo.

He is lo0king good yes.

But the team has not been selected yet (ignore the Footy Show rubbish).

For example it is 11.30pm and there is not club email with the team.

I dont mind, not expecting BJ to hit his straps for a few weeks.

I remember the folks bagging hayes last year ><

quality player, quality saint.

I just hope we aren't rushing him back, because he'll be handy on GF day

I've got no doubts that the 2008 Saints will be very professional on when players come back from injury. In BJ's case - he's been in full training for quite some time, has had 2 hit-outs at Casey and dominated the 2nd one. He is not wearing any strapping on his knee which indicates he has full confidence in it. He will play if the medical team have ok'd it. He is a damn good player that gives another highly skilled long kicking option running off half-back. We will pick a very strong team for Saturday night.

I would have thought we needed to lodge our team today.

Only the teams playing tonight would have needed to lodge last night.

I truly hope the Beej plays, but don't be shockled if he dosen't.

yes I think 'on paper' we should smash sydney.

i get the feeling confidence is quite high.

4/4 pre season (sure some were close and could have gone either way, but winners are grinners to be sure)

the midfield looks as strong as its been for some time.

hayes is back to full flight, dal santo is being blocked, but monty is picking up where he left off from last season, xav is all pace, gram has been up and down but looks good when it counted, Birss is solid, without being brilliant, harvey contributing 20 possessions from 60 % game time, ball is solid without being brilliant...

schneider looks good, verging on impressive.

IMO Milne always did his best work with another foil (saints didn't do enough to get the best out of geurra who turned into a fat lazy pig at st kilda) with shneider running around, kosi, reiwoldt and co in the air, i think we'll have two 35 plus goal small forwards giving headaches to our foes.

Yep Dan.

Options, options aplenty. We can mix and match depending on who the opposition is. They appear to be much bigger in size, fitter, and with the addition of 2 giant ruckman - our structure is looking so much better

If the medical room stays quiet all year - then look out.
