Riccardo, you wouldn't be seriously suggesting that Saints.com has all of a sudden improved it's efficiency, would you?
The Membership tracker is regularly out of action, like most things on the Club site. Cannot wait for the new Sainters.com to get going.
Incidently, the figure of 25,222 is as at the 20th February according to the sign on the Membership desk - hasn't changed as of yesterday.

With our membership tally currently standing at 25,877 the Club is urging all Saints fans to jump on board and break the membership record of 32,000. There has never been a better time to become a Saint than now!

good observations, and I was thinking the same.

Obviously the nab cup means sweet FA.......from what they were saying at Moorabbin, Round 1 sign ups should be massive, plus we have a home game in Round 2 also, further given strong gains then.

On a side note, most of Telstra Dome's enquiries have been relating to St.Kilda - perhaps suggesting we are of huge interest.

So all in all - sit tight for now - and in two weeks time we should had several thousand new members!

Alot of people don't sign up until the day/night of R1, so that number looks low, but is actually pretty encouraging.

Hope to crack at least 32k personally.

Well, I've joined up at last but I haven't received my pack yet so I don't know if they have added me yet. Not that I mind; I can't go this Saturday night so as long as I get it before rd 2, I'll be happy.

Most definately!!!

Ive been in touch for the Club who hahve outlined the contingency plan for anyone (Like me!!!!) who hasnt recieved their Memberships by SAturday. They will have membership databases on hand to verfiy you are actually a member and will give you a temporary pass to get in. I'm sure that will apply to new sign-ees too..you are entitled to your 11 games as much as anyone..

The communication with the CLub has been great..but it does concern me a little that twice in the last 2 weeks Ive been told Im "in the next mailout" I reckon the Membership Dept are pretty lucky we went all the way in the NAB Cup and ppl didnt need their cards to get into Challenge games.

I got a couple of those emails, nearly 2 weeks apart.

I've already got my card (its been "activated" from the mail out campaign), so I'm OK, but I want my goodies! Especially the scarf.

The growth over the past two weeks is very disappointing, less than1,000.

I meant the calls that TD were getting related to St.Kilda - I assume as in people making phone calls to TD re either reserved seats/st.kilda memberships.

I'm only passing on what I heard, so can't elaborate anymore sorry!

i got my memberships today, which is great.

the problem is i bought 3 memberships online that being:

2xadults (me and my partner)
1xinfant - Little Angel membership (for my daughter)

but all the memberships have my name, both the adult memberships and my 15 month old daughter's little angels membership, including her saints birth certificate!

anyway, will probably have to ring the club and get it fixed. its not the clubs fault, its that online provider they use, i wasn't able to enter names for the different memberships, i thought the club or the provider they use would have emailed me (or something like that) to confirm the names for the other memberships.

i hope we can solve it.

But more importantly, heres to a great 2008:

Footy started a week later then so I think we a litlle away from the record year which is disappointing. Looks like all the keen supporters joined early this year as it hasnt gone up much lately.

Doesn't matter what the subject is, you always seem to project the negative - I think we will break the membership record this year and what's more, I will continue to promote it as well, not find the negative as you will do.
