Gilbert is an interesting one, very overrated by Saints supporters but underrated by other's team's supporters....
in your original post, you mentioned about 4 young kids, now you mention jones who is also young.

how can these players be underrated when they have been in the system for only a small amount of time?

Because it is all relaitve, if a c grade player is only mentioned along d grade players he is being underrated, if a d grade player is mentioned amongst b grade players he is being overrated.

When compared to players his own age and experience I believe Nathan Jones to be one of the best if not the best. I consider Selwood, Jones and Pendles to be the best young players in the game ATM and I just feel that Jones has snuck under the radar a bit.

With my first post the only other young player was Goldsack and again it is because he is often neglected when Collingwood youngsters are mentioned...

yeh i sort of feel the same way hes one of those players that the comintators picked up on really quickly and so bringing him to everyones attention and he was probably (along with mcdonald) the best player in melbournes porr side last year so very good but not underrated by most.

especially demons fans.
