Yep, I wouldnt be complaining too much.Mr Magic wrote:$5000?
If it assisted us in either of the following scenarios it would appear to be money well spent:-
Helped us win the game and thereby get the winners' cheque.
Helped us physically in getting over playing in those extreme conditions so that we will be ready for R1.
just pay it.

good story, and similar to what Packer did at the start of World Series Cricket at VFL Park when the game was looking like running overtime.....he simply instructed the timekeeper to slow the clocks down!Saints-06-Premiers wrote:Maybe the clock in the rooms was slow or something.
When you have more than one clock all on different times, it does get confusing, but hey, im not complaining, this problem happens at work, i end up with a longer break.
i am Melbourne Skies - sometimes Blue Skies, Grey Skies, even Partly Cloudy Skies.

Port were fined $3,000
Anyone got a link to the fine for St Kilda? Haven't seen any coverage on the internet as yet.
If its 10,000 or less, I don't think we got screwed at all. I haven't read the response from the club, but if we gained an unfair advantage intentionally - well its pretty serious.
If it was the H/A season, and Adelaide/Fremantle took longer, we'd immediately assume it was to gain an advantage. And all of us would be demanding that it be taken much further than a fine.

the only referance I have heard is still the comment on ch nine from my original post- so I thought one option may be that the AFL have asked saints for explainaton and said it may be a $5,000 fine unless their reasoning is good enough.- - just my thought on it.benengel14 wrote: Anyone got a link to the fine for St Kilda?
