Watching the NAB cup from a super box :)

Post: # 530189Post The Fireman »

This is how I saw the NAB cup, was up in the mountains camping, flyfishing and drove 50 mins from the camp site to get TV coverage on my laptop, best room in the house on top of Victoria :D The Win made it all that more worthwhile.

The view is looking down the Kiewa Valley.

PS the beer and food was reasonably priced as well but the trip back to camp took twice as long.

Might have been Keiwa Valley, but it most definitely had a Brokeback Mountain feel about it :D

That must have been a classic night Fireman. You managed to combine two of the loves of my life - the sainters and the keiwa valley. My brother watched the saints in Bright. He would have loved to join you.

We share the same loves, I have just got back and I go there as much as I can but didn't want to miss that game even if I had to drive all the way back to MT Beauty..
One of the best places in Victoria, just don't tell anyone

Gone are the days of just a swag and a billy, I am now officially a fair weather camper. Roughing it is a thing of the past for me. TBH I would have arranged just about anything to make sure I watched the game. :)

PS One blown tyre and a missing mud flap later. :?

Yeah, well I'd already figured out that there must be more to these "fishing trips" to the mountain's than meets the eye, just hoped you remembered to pack the rods, so the missus is none the wiser.

Well - you never know Spinner. I do have a husband who's into bizarre sports such as sailing & motor sport. There are no saints allies around here for me.
