Lenny Hayes, may not have got many possessions but his tackling and harassing scored us 2 or 3 goals by its self...... This guy's work ethic is second to none.

Anyone agree

yep it was just a real shame he did his knee, and basicly missed a season and a half because of it, his form when he did it was scary

Couldn't agree more. He is the heart of the midfield now that the Banger is not in there as much, and is just so hard at the contest and so sure with his hands.

He is a superstar, and very much underrated by the wider football community when talking about premiere midfileders.

Please...let's win a Premiership before GEELONG!!!! (O.k., so we've missed that opportunity...maybe let's win the next one before Geelong????)

He's an absolute star, and almost our most important midfielder.

A fit Ball and Hayes gives our midfield a toughness most other teams won't be able to match. Throw in huge ruckman in King and Gardner and that is one very physically tough midfield group.

I want to stand for something. I'm a loyal person and I think at the end of my career it will be great to look back and know that I'm a St Kilda person for life.

he started that third term on the ball and I swear he won every clearance during that 10 or 15 minutes he was on the ground.

sure do,

by the way, how's Jarryn Geary? Haven't heard much about your relationship with him following that conversation you had where he told you he'd been delisted.

It appears Roo is favourite for the captaincy, but I would be more than happy with Lenny for all the above reasons.
