Hi, just wondering if any new life members were inducted t the AGM? Thanks.

I think the club has set up a sub-committee to look at awards such as Life Memberships. From memory the sub committee is Alan Jeans, Danny Frawley, Archie Fraser and 1 or 2 others. I think they were looking at announcing these types of awards at the Trevor Barker Medal night.
I might be a bit old fashioned but I believe that Life Memberships SHOULD be awarded at the AGM !!

Can confirm none were awarded at the AGM.
I assumed that was because
- no players were eligible (10 yrs service)
- no nominations were received/approved
Or is it because there is some move to shift it to TB Medal night ?
As it is a Board decision it really should be at the AGM.
Though the medal night gives more fans the chance to pay homage ?
The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.
