One liner on Bigfooty stated that he played an hour for Casey, but no report as to how he went. Hopefully will be able to find out today.

Did well from what I hear. Ferg also played a half and did ok. McEvoy was great with 4 goals at CHF.

I'd wanna know why he wasn't in the ruck!!!!

We've been through this before our developing ruckman playing forward at Casey!!!! Hope this isn't a sign to come.

Rix and van Rheenen would have been rucking. Don't think McEvoy will play as a full tme ruckman at any level until next year.

Well he should be Rix isn't ever going to be a champion ruckman at AFL level give developing ruckman a go, even if it is the Casey Reserves.

that's exciting. perhaps we could see a few cameos for him this season if one of our tall forwards falls over.

from the little i've seen him he has sticky fingers a la kosi and obviously his kicking's not bad either

Goddard played about 3/4 of the first 3/4 then was called it a night. Mainly played in defence with a little run up around the wing, the Scorpions tried to isolate him as the loose man in defence and it was his bread and butter.

Didn't miss a beat in what wasn't an overly intense VFL match. Showed plenty of poise, and good decision making, doesn't quite have full penetration in his kicking, but that didn't stop him from hitting Howard in the guts with a 60m spear from a full back kick in. Will probably play a similar amount and role next week, with Maguire expected to return as well.

I'm sure getting through the game was the main thing, knee reco's are not easy, but from reports BJ is well ahead of schedule in terms of training/fitness at this stage.
