3/4 Time !!

Post: # 529256Post Eastern »

Just heard on SEN that we might have ran a bit overtime when the boys went into the rooms at 3/4 time. I wonder how much Dimwit & Monkeyboy will slug us for that? !!

Remember the commentators saying that the Crows were back in position well before the Saints ran out again.

They were looking at it as a mistake from Adelaide that they had not taken the allotted extra time!!

The announcer at the ground blamed the saints for being late.
Funny moment that, the siren to start the quarter went with all the crows players and umpires in position, and the saints still down the tunnel

They went into the rooms at quarter time as well . Was a great move I thought . I was actually waiting for the ump to bounce with our guys still down the race lol. Dimwit can fine us 10 grand but we got 375 grand more lol

According to the 10 coverage, due to the heat the teams had an extra 2 min at the 1/4 and 3/4 time breaks...

Which Adelaide didn't know/use...

I think that siren was the 'warning siren' to tell both teams that there is a minute to go?
The Saints were waiting in the tunnel until that siren sounded and then immediately ran onto the ground.

Yeh I think Adelaides rooms were too far from their bench to walk to in the 5-7mins they had.

At quarter time though, the umpires had no idea where the Saints players went. Then an umpire checked the rooms.

I don't really care about a fine for being late onto the ground. It was kinda funny, all the Adelaide players were standing around. And the scoreboard had a camera in the rooms watching the Saints huddle and walk onto the ground.

Who cares about a fine.
It was a great move and probably won us the game in the end.
Should have bought in a truck load of ice and spread it around the room.
Well done Ross Lyon!
Appears to be a very shrewd character on current form.

Well done Ross Lyon!
Appears to be a very shrewd character on current form.
Maybe, maybe not. More importantly I think, is that it hopefully will have us in better shape for next week.

You mean the week after. We get a break. Which sucks. I want round one to come already! So close yet so far!

when the saints came out the siren rang twice there for meaning that there was 2 minutes till the game was supposed to start as channel 10 got right (bout the only thing they got right last night)

shouldnt be in line for a fine.

if so it will be about as harsh as kosi's deliberate out of bounds last night

Back on topic, to be fair to Andrew Demetriou (which is very hard to do) he simply said that a report will come in and if we were infact late, then their a processes in place to sort it out.

No threats, no heroism, no big noting. No scandal.

Quite out of character really.

as the boys were slowly walking down the race, the siren sounded for about 8 seconds straight, and i seriously though that the ump was going to blow his whistle and start the 3rd quarter, but he didnt, and that made the cows fans angy
