When HD and I interviewed GW and NB a few months back, one of the questions we asked was about the big screen at moorabbin - Westaway was unreserved in his determination about getting fans back to the club - and indeed recognising the supporters / members - and said he would be looking at re-starting the big screen.
I remember thinking last week that I hope he moves on that one, and he has straight away.n1ck wrote:When HD and I interviewed GW and NB a few months back, one of the questions we asked was about the big screen at moorabbin - Westaway was unreserved in his determination about getting fans back to the club - and indeed recognising the supporters / members - and said he would be looking at re-starting the big screen.

Still concerned that nothing is mentioned about this on the Official Site.
And no e-mail/flyer either.
All it says is something about a big screen will be set up in Perth !!!!!!!!!!
Do they not want anyone to turn up ?

not hard no7...you follow the club/licence/franchise whether its based at the junction, moorabbin, waverley, frankston, the dome or southport (my dream)...makes no difference if your in melb & see 17 games, distant country or interstate & see maybe one or 2 games or overseas & see none
having a guess of our 30000 members imo 10000 would be either interstate, overseas or distant country who would see 1 or 2 games at best

Its not hard being a sainter in this flea bitten hole(aderlaide) just gotta put up with crow and port morons
Have barracked for the saints for 45 years so have heard all the tripe from other clubs towards us
When I started going for the saints i didnt even know we were red white and black cos it was all in black and white.
Never had a chance to see us play live until 1990 when Plugger kicked 12 against crows here and we walloped them
And Rog i sure will be giving them heaps mate.
As an aside we have not had any vision of us at all this week on TV news But thats the mentality of this town

Just got back from The Trevor Barker Room.
Bit flat in the first half.
But the second half was fantastic.
The atmosphere kicked in after half time.
And the tension in the last quarter was almost unbearable.
And of course the place went ballistic when Harvey spotted
and Milne slotted
Fantastic night
My son won one of the raffles
The burgers and snags were great.
And drinks at reasonable prices

Actually Saintbrat there wasn't that many.saintbrat wrote:many there enrico?
Probably less than 200.
They only had the south end of the room open, with the BBQ area outside at the back of the seats.
But when Harve's found Milne it sounded like there was 2000 there.
(And I temporarily lost my voice).
Picture quality was good too.
