Stephen the Premiership's King, the man's a walking Premiership, he burps Premiership's, breathe's Premiership's, he's got Premiership's encoded all through his DNA, wherever he goes the Premiership's follow, we've even given him the number 2 jumper, because 2008 will be his second AFL Premiership winning, AFL Premiership season, and being the Premiership wiz, what better symbol, to have the Premiership King here to deliver Premiership number two after 42 years since 1966, with 42 according to some BBC show/flick(to the best of my recollection ) about the answer to the universal question "What is the meaning of Life?" with the answer being 42, I think this goes some ways towards this theory and also taking into consideration that in numerology 1966 adds up to 22, with 22 being the master number, it quite possible means that for all of these years St.Kilda Football Club have not won a Premiership because we didn't have a Premiership Master, a Premiership King, but now that the the King has landed........ at Moorabbin, I now have a dream, a Premiership dream and it's all because of Stephen Premiership's King> or SPK as I rather affectionately, prefer to call him
SPK, go you great thing
PS. thought I'd post it again in the original thread, really it's just an excuse to post it 2 times, because afterall SPK is number 2, here to deliver St.Kilda Premiership number 2, so it seemed that 2 times is only fitting

Oh, Barks, we are getting excited, aren't we?
But, ain't it a joy to see midfielders willing to run to space at stoppages just because they believe the pill is going to be hit into that space.
King and the Constant Gardiner for Pick 90 - how long has this been going on?

5 prelims in 7 years. 40 wins from 49 games.
2009 and 2010 were 2 of the 5 best years ever by the St.Kilda FC.
Thanks for all your efforts Saints.

Apart from the act th Andy has thrown over Rix for the King, lets get some sense back into this thread. Well it is me posting so sense might be a bit thin on the ground but here goes.....
Apart from his work at centre bounces and ballups, King has been working hard over the ground. I think the total package (no not Frank Matera) of The King and The Constant Gardiner has made material impact on our midfield. We have not had our best mids in the centre once in the praccy matches. Combos including Birss, X Clarke, Geary, Armitage, and Eddy with a smattering of experience (Dal and Harvs) and of late some input from Lenny and Luke Ball have been mixed and matched. We had Joey and Dal on HFF all night on Friday and Harvs and Armo in the middle for the entire last qtr.
However while the mids have been very unsettled (as RL as planned it) we have been easily winning clearances. The King is ahead of the Constant Gardiner, however the combo is greater than the individual.
Moreso, King has shown tremendous leadership on field. One could forgive him for still feling his way after the dissapointment of being traded from the premiership team, but his encouragement of the kids during the game and goes to all the kids and established players after each win and is the first to congratulate them. Seems like he is enjoying his time at the Saints.
Dempster, Schneider, King and Charlie Gardiner virtually for pick #27. Really is bearing fruit and it is quite unbelievable that we traded so well for so little.

Lance or James??
There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

Relishin it and Sainting it.
The big ex-cat has shown a lot of enthusiasm and no small ammount of skill at the beginning of a new season. At times he reads the play beautifully and gives his new team-mates a handy edge. I think he is enjoying his time at the moment and we look forward to him developing even more in his career change.
Happy to have Kingie as nb. 1. ruck right now.
With Birrs; Jones; Kingey demonstrating patches of real quality play they must know 2008 can be HUGE for them individually and for our Sainters.
Allen inspires confidence as does Armitage and if they can stay in the driving seat it'll be HOLD ON FOR THE RIDE OF YOUR LIVES 1

The boy can play and we can build a defence around him that will have respect.

The other exciting aspect at present is that our mids are still learning to play with King and Gardi.....
Practice makes perfect...and as they get better used to reading each other and in enacting those drills we don't see at the closed training sessions things are I believe only going to get better as the season progresses.
