Yeah it was definatly a Tippett love fest tonight. The amount of iso shots they showed of him in random points of the game was unbelievable.yes, the coverage was poor.
What was with the random shots of tippet and his cramp when the ball is nearly in the f50 saints. Then at times we would get close up of people in the stands whilst play has started. very frustrating.
Robert Walls sounded genuinely dissapointed when we had the gamed wrapped up because he couldn't tip him for the medal

This year lets make it 29
One has gotta think that when Harvs retires he may move to Adelaide, he loves that ground so much
...we played 3 finals in 2004.....
...but as long as we win the last won!!! its all that matters!!

I think I speak for us all when I fervently pray that Richmond hand Judd & Co one of the great hidings of all time in 2 weeks timebenengel14 wrote:Not that it takes away from the win. But agree wholeheartedly on Channel 10's attempt at coverage. Frequently miss the run out from defence by watching insignificant replays. Miss the club song because they're too busy promoting a game a fortnight away.
Who else almost threw up by the amount of Judd coverage? he played a practice match FFS, I don't need to see every minute where the ball was in his vicinity. The could have limited JuddTV to 15 minutes and they would have had plenty of time for a post-match analysis/highlight reel and the club song in full.
Here's hoping Josh Kennedy sets the world alight!

Ten's shocking coverage cannot be ignored.
To think they have rights to the Grand Final this year???
Well thank god.
The white-wash of glorious advertising they've been running has subverted me.
Yeah you're right... remember feeling the same dissatisfaction as the Cats were thrashing Port last year.

Agreed. If anyone watches a replay, see if they can count how many times "tippett" was mentioned in the 3rd quarter in a period of 5 minutes. Must have reached 30 odd.ttufc7 wrote: Yeah it was definatly a Tippett love fest tonight. The amount of iso shots they showed of him in random points of the game was unbelievable.

Greatest season opener in history? Richmond v Carlton
I must admit the idea of seeing the two last-placed clubs face off on 'who can tank right from Round 1' is definitely the most interesting concept for a season opener.

I did have a laugh to myself to see less than 30,000 there when the Crows C.E.O (or some Crows guy anyway) was so adamant they would fill it. Still it was a decent game, crap coverage, not very well umpired but we did win so im pretty happy. Would rather beat those Crow Scum in the real stuff but that goes some way to ease the pain of 97.
