Great Management

Post: # 528247Post The OtherThommo »

This is a heartfelt note on how I rate Archie Fraser and Ross Lyon.

At last, AT LAST, we have 2 men at the helm of this joint who are talented and focussed on only one thing. They have their egos in check, understand the pillars that deliver success, love their jobs and the people they work with, and can work together.

AT LAST. We have a coach who understands success, and is hungry to deliver it. We have a CEO who sidestepped the crap of last year and worked with the coach to deliver a complete team the coach needed.

This is the most exciting time in this club's history, since the signing of the great Darrell Baldock. I fervently believe Ross Lyon will be our second premiership coach, and we will celebrate like no other. We are no longer a second rate, set upon, disregarded club. These 2 blokes now have us set to be an absolute powerhouse.

This is our spring. The summer is to come. The players now get RTB's message. They now know what is required. They know how to play to succeed. And they are good enough.

All this is down to Archie and the Boss. It's ours to grab. We can. We are good enough.

Forget clsoed windows - we are sponsored by windows!!

Totally agree with everthing you have said. I was very nervous in 04 when we missed out. We had not depth and it was a worry. But things have changed and I am very happy with whats happened at our club in the last 6 months. These guys are strong leaders and instill confidence, I for one am very excited about our future. 8-)

Best post I've read in a while.

Totally, totally agree with your sentiment and comments about both men.

It's what happens when you appoint the best candidates through proper process.

Spot on in every way.

They should only play AFL games now when it's raining. Slow games of footy are so much better to watch.

I'm not convinced about the new board (or the old board for that matter).

But agree Ross and Archie are the two men to lead us to the promised land (and I don't mean bl00dy Frankston !).
