First year Adelaide in the competition. Plugger had injured his back at the start of the year and this was his first game back. Was also Winmars first game back after missing the start of the season.

Locket wasn’t even match fit but a 70% Plugger was good enough.

Start of game goes something like



Ruck tap to ground gathered by Winmar who hand passes to Harvey who hits Plugger on the chest within 20 seconds of game start. The roar from the crowd was amazing as i was on the outer wing and hearing the stands erupt Ill never forget

Plugger kicks the goal and then is on a rampage kicking 9 by half time.

Before half time Danny Hughes ex Melb player was dragged from the ground from the South road end during the ball return after a goal. Had to run past the members the full grand stand and the animal cage and the roar from the crowd was hilarious.

Plugger only managed another 3 after half time as he ran out of steam we still ended up winning by 20 goals it was a fun day at the footy that day.
