The good news is that from last year we do not seem to have lost a lot.
Currently Fizz has gone backwards...and L Fisher seems to have slipped a bit too....both can come back though, but they had best get a move on or they may be playing for Casey.
Voss and Thommo were past their best last year.
Raph is still failing to show that he is best 22....
But on the upside
King and M Gardiner are showing that they will be our best ruck division since Everitt/Vidovic
Schneider will be a great aquistion...last night was just a tast.
Armo. Has now come on very nicely....and by seasons end could be quite mouth watering.
C Gardiner has been a major surprise. The guy is no star...but he is a competent player in a position that we have no other real option for....and so this is a big plus for us. Playing like a mini-Roo on the HHF he provodes a "real" HF option for us..and his run is handy to support the midfield and backline such as with his mark in the last moments of the Dons game.
Geary has continued on with his late season form at casey and is now knocking on the dor asa serious option for BP or HBF.
Blake playing in the backline has delivered steady games and provides good depth here if required.
X is showing that he can play midfield.
.........
Goose, Ball and BJ we are just waiting on to see how they shape up...
......
and CJ a favourite of mine while still being rough with his footskills is being an exitement machine with his hardness, tackling and pressure harry the opposition and force turnovers. Will be interesting to watch as the coaches attempt to address his flaws and make the most of his assets.
The good news is....
