Jumper clash

Post: # 525846Post dcstkfc »

Did anyone else reckon there was a clash last night?
And there will be next week too now.

I know it was like that for 100+ years but his is 2008 and we have a clash jumper. lack of professionalism not to have one ready imo

Yes, we have a clash jumper. We wear it when and if directed to do so by the AFL. They must have thought the traditional strip was OK. Remembering Essendon, like Collingwood refuse to wear a clash strip !!

we shouldnt have to wear our clash jumper against the crows, just the home + white shorts should be good enough.
is it our home game at aami because in all the papers i have seen it is "NAB brand final, saints v crows at aami stadium" why is our name before the crows?

We qualified first.

I didn't think there was a clash, if we wear our white shorts against Essendon, there's no clash.

I don't think Adelaide's clashes with ours either. They are navy, we are black, they have yellow numbers we have white...... and the front is certainly no clash.

I honestly didnt notice a clash, the fact that we wore the white shorts no doubt helped that. I dont reckon we clash against the Crows either. So home jumper with white shorts would be the go.

With the white shorts, it looked fine. No trouble figuring it out for myself and the players didn't seem too troubled by it.

On the top level it was almost impossible for me to tell the jumpers apart in contested situations, the only time I was ok was when it was one of our starting players who I could recognise by their hair or something...

As far as I was aware it was our home game, if that was the case they should have had to wear red shorts with the widened stripe like they did last year...

of course there was a clash.

It's a forking disgrace that it happend.

I have ZERO faith once again in the AFL due to yet another stuff up.

Sure, it was only a glorified praccy match, but it was on telly, and as such jumper clashes should be rectified.

Perhaps Dimwit and his buddies were gloating over their overly inflated salaries that became public.....

Well if its only a practice match, shouldn't it be "shirts v skins"?

Would attract more women through the gates for the pre-season methinks

The only thing that Fruday night highlighted to me is that it seems we may be changing our clashie and it isn't ready yet OR we were not mandated to wear it, so we didn't.

As I said, sitting L1, but with poor eyesight, never once did I get confised. Its all in the shorts!
