Armo = Thomo

To continue a theme...I think David carries himself quite a bit like Thomo - same high arms with elbows pointed look! Check the tape if you doubt me! Hopefully plays 200 games as well!

You're right, because I was watching the game and at one stage I thought, 'Whats Thommo doing back out there.'

I'd take 200 quality games and a B&F from Armo ...

They should only play AFL games now when it's raining. Slow games of footy are so much better to watch.

Armo reminds me more of a young Hodge :)

Is he in our best 22?

IMO he's in our best 25.

Ah, Sammie. On the money. Armo has very similar gait to Hodge. Strong body, good presence, left footed (without fade) and a confident young fella. There's stuff to look forward to with him. Obviously worked hard since '07. Good on him.

Yep agreed with both Sam and ToT...

Armo moves like Hodge, has that same aggression, and a booming left foot kick.

is right on the fringes of our best lineup at the moment, but if he continues in the same vein as he has been, hel be entrenched in our midfield for a long time to come.

If Armo can kick as well as Hodge then I'll be wrapped, but if not he's still very useful with his clearance work and tackling.

If anything he reminds me of a young Harvey (which I have only seen on tape mind you   )

He just seems to be a nice mix, not quite the skill of Dal and not quite the same ferocity of Hayes/ Ball, is a nice balanced player that seems to be able to play both inside and outside midfield, in for a big career...

Armo definately played his best game in senior company.

Tempo of the game was higher than previous weeks and was good to see him step up.

ive alwasy though andrew 'mini' mcqualter would be the next harvey.

just looks so much like him if he grew his heair abit longer i might actually confuse the two

just carried himself in the same way.

i though armo looked a bit like thommo but with hodgey and balley mixed in dont know why its just different things from each of those players that stick out in my mind :?

Yeah. I can see it. Reading the title I thought - hmmmmm maybe, but the elbow comment sealed it for me. Armo's hair is also pretty similar - colour and style (when doesn't have all the product in it).

In terms of playing style they are both tough nuts who enjoy mixing it up in close and putting their head over the pill too.
