Two vastely different visions....

Post: # 524862Post saintsRrising »

Interesting to read Saints and Dons Forums at present....

Both are very confident that their teams are in good form and will win...with each set of fans having high opinions and hopes for 2008.

Dons fans have it that their team under Knights is reborn .....

Saints fans have it that RL has been tinkering and recruiting away to rebuild and re-structure the list....

One set of fans is going to be quite disappointed after Friday night............

Not necessarily, depends on a number of things.

If we lose tomorrow night I won't be cut, provided we have shown the same level of promise, endeavour and pressure skills that we have all tournament.

If we lose, but continue to tinker towards our ideal set up and style then all well and good,
of course I'd love to win to make a granny and earn some prize money so will still be barracking hard, but no reason for alarm either way.

Bombers im not so sure, if we smashed them im sure they'd be very dissapointed, so let's do just that.

i have a feeling we (Saints supporters) aren't quite as deluded and bias as the Essendon ones (just read some of the tripe they post on their forum)

and wasn't it only a few months ago that most Essendon supporters were bagging the sh*t out of Knights, and couldn't believe he was chosen as their new coach

All posters are equal, but some posters are more equal than others.

I have every confidence in the Saints form and ability going up against Essendone right now - but I think the Saints priorities are more around getting match practice into players where the Bombers have appeared genuinely looking to win the NAB cup.

Given that we're putting more talent on the field that they are tonight, it could well go the Saints way, but I really wouldn't be surprised by a Bomber victory - IMO the Cups goes every year to the team who plays with the most genuine desire to win it... and for me that means the Bombers or Adelaide at this point.

without kosi and fraser out there, this is a really good opportunity for allen and c gardiner to show us their worth.

let's not make the mistake of always kick-it-to-roo.

best option and many reliable and consistent avenues to goal

A message for those who want to go to the Bombers Fan Forum and read their ramblings

No, you cannot have those minutes of your life back you wasted reading their tripe.

We're just as 'deluded' as they are.

I find Essendon fans the most unpassionate in the league, but when to bias and self-praise, we're right up there.

Can't say that's a bad trait though.....we love the saints.....we haven't had much success, so when a few things go our way we like 2 stand up and let people know about it.....cause most of our mates have been telling us about how good there teams were/are since the day we tried on our birthday suits!!!

Fair call???
