For those that cannot use the above link.

Confirmed Fraser has a strain...2 to 3 weeks.

Said it was the only injury from the NAB game and that Max and Kosi are not injured.

6 or 7 back this week..

Roo, Ball, Hayes, Schneider Harvey, King and M Gardiner should be back

:)

Roo has tendonitis of the knee..and so they backed off his kicking.
said he was ready to play and will play this week.

:?

I find it very hard to believe that Max isn't injured considering the way he grabbed at his hamstring.

"...If there has been one recurring theme through this whole shocking mess, it has been the misguided, inflated egos and their ill-judged determination to cling to long-standing old boy friendships. The bad advice that has guided the selfish and culpable James Hird has not only punctuated this saga but symbolised it..."

If this is all true, its pretty good news. Fraser should indeed be back by round 1 then.

Good news.

AppArently, Maxs season was over because he wasn'ty smiling when he walked off the ground late on Saturday. According to a certain boundary rider who clearly wouldn't know his proverbial from his elbow.

Oh you mean the genius that said "he wasn't smiling when he went up the race" or words to that effect? Of course, every player that goes into the rooms, interchange or comes off injured smiles....seriously what do they pay these idiots for??

My Answer is no. The focus is to prepare our whole list for the H&A...not the NAB Cup.

Besides with Roo an in (Plus Gadi and King for the ruck, one of whom can now drfift forward or rest forward)....there is no need.

We can get more experience into Allen and test C Gardiner out more to see if he is best 22 or not...

Schneider Roo Mid

Milne Allen C Gardiner

Drain explained that it was always the fitness plan to rest Kosi and GTrain anyway.....as with King last week.]

If he does have a slight niggle...that would make it more so.

Thats the one.

With Rick Olarenshaws "hostipal" comment in Friday nights game, I almost miss Christy Malthouse. Almost.

Maxie woulod be a bit gun-shy I reckon. Felt some tightness down there and he clutched at it thinking "oh know - here we go again!!" But, perhaps that's all it was just tightness. He had a shocking run of Hammies last year don't forget.

That was my thought also. I'm pretty sure that he still got a handball out after he fell to the ground in that passage too from memory.

SCHNEIDER ROO C Gardiner

Milne Allen Jones

KING Armo BALL

M GARDINER Dal Blake Eddy VR RAPH X? Stevens

Our core players who have played both NAB games and the Intra Club should be rested.

Koschitzke
Hudghton
Dal Santo
Montagna
S. Fisher

Did I miss anyone?

I would agree with that, rest the lot of them...

Do I sense someone getting a sniff of greed for the NAB cup?

Also mentioned that the only players who would not be considered this week, apart from Kosi, Max & G, were Goddard, who will be available in another week, and Dempster, who has a torn cartilage! Did not mention how long Dempster would be.
