Given that the Dons have not faced any teams so far in the NAB with a credible forward line, I think they would be breathing a sigh of relief that they will not be facing the Saints with a Gehrig, Kosi, Roo forward line-up.
I reckon they will be feeling very comfortable now.

we will still have the likes of riewoldt, allen and gardiner to worry them. if we sat roo at full forward, i don't think fletcher or mal would be able to go with him.

Ryder vs Riewoldt will be interesting to watch if it's played that way.

Gehrig vs Mal Michael would have been pretty good too, but big Mal will not really have anyone to match up on, and his offensive game is pretty laughable.

Beyond that, it's not too interesting. Bombers fan may be excited about their kids, but I couldn't care less. Actually, I could.... Houli and Riemers were actually quite good to watch last week.

I'm more interested in matchups like Gram vs McPhee, Baker vs Peverill, and whoever is tagging Watson.

This game won't be about individuals though, it will be about structure, effort, and pressure.

Rix to FF, he and Micheal should cancel each other out.

I thought Kosi was just tightness and he would play?

Thats what he said after the match.

FWIW, I think we'll win, alot of goals to come from running mids Essendon can't counter IE Montagna, Gram, Fiora.

Kosi was going to be rested along with Max this week regardless. Part of the pre-season rotations. All players are only playing a certain no. of minutes over the 4 weeks.
