is Selwood the new Judd ???

Post: # 523159Post st_Trav_ofWA »

after watching saturdays game down at the civic it occured to me how often Joel Selwood gets tackled yet never ever gets pinged for holding the ball. is he the new judd the untouchable player who can do no wrong ?? he seems to get the rub of the umps each week so i reckon hes a good early bet for the brownlow as the umpys seem to love him !!!
to bad we play the bombers next week as after friday nights attempt at umpireing it would seem we are in for another week of protected players

haha...my thoughts exactly.

Well I didnt initially compare him to Judd....But you hit the nail on the head. All I was thinking throughout the match was how 'lucky' as a player young Selwood was.

Things just went his way. With help from the umpires.

Must say I haven't noticed, but I wouldn't assume anything from yesterdays game, the umpires let a LOT go...
