If you come from the Gold coast area dont sign another contract with your club and wait for the offers from the new Gold Coast team, this includes the likes of Roo.
Lets hope that the AFL players dont go along the same lines as our cricket players and chase the money.
Thanks for putting the word out there Kev, how much is this worth to
yourself, you must have a finger in the Gold Coast Pie have you???

Yeah well sheedy can go get a big black dog up him! He dosent make the rules, and now has a super inflated ego even bigger than before since retiring. When askede anything, he talks with the manner of a president crossed with the pope. We really dont think that highly of you sheeds.
Anyway, damn ridiculous idea, what drugs is he on! Never heard anything lacking more sense in all my waking hours. Yeah right, all you QLD guys, no signing of contracts with your current clubs because....
Sheeds, here's a idea for you...PISS OFF!

Why would they in the first place? You know they'll be chasing home-grown talent, and the money on offer will be more than they can make at their current club, bar none. It only makes sense, unless you don't want to go for market value or above, to wait it out and see what sort of money is bandied about. Football is a business these days, and plauyers hire agents etc to act in THEIR best interests, not the clubs.

What compensation would we get if Roo, Gilbert and Armitage returned to play for goldcoast?
Surely we would get draft picks or would they be lost to a new club heavily backed by AFL?
Why would anyone be drafting players from qld next season when they can leave at will, come home guys and the afl will pay what you want, unlimited salary cap backed by vlad and his boundless purse for ten yrs....
