You know, I'm happy with this so far. We're tackling hard, we're putting pressure on them and we're playing goood footy. Great signs so far.

agreed, can't bottle this! now we need to start hitting targets and making this pressure hurt on the scoreboard

A lot of our less skillful players getting it - Baker, Gilbert, Jones etc. which isn't help us.

As soon as Joey, Dal and Gram combine, we move it forward easily.

Great mark Kosi on the siren

They should only play AFL games now when it's raining. Slow games of footy are so much better to watch.

Kosi is the man of the match already, lining up for another from 7 out...
Geelong have no one to go with him...
A 4th??? goal after the siren...
59-43...
Let's hope we can survive the last quarter...

Kosi is an awesome forward - he can turn on absolutely dominant peformances, and his half of football was ... I'm lost for words... awesome.

Bakes and Max have had alot of the ball but I wish they hadnt. Skills are ordinary. Need to get it to our more skilled players.

Will be interesting to see who plays up forward if Kosi needs a rest. We'll probably see Gardiner CHF, Allen FF and van Rheenen FP at some stage.

good signs for maxy

kosi marks and kicks a goal, 4 goals in a half.

59 - 43

geary getting tons of uncontested possies which is a great sign that he is pushing himself to get to receieve!

gram came into it alot more in that quarter, same with fizz. joey racking up decient stats but dal really needs to step up as a senior player imo.

rooke? running off milne too much and he needs to sacrifice his game next quarter and show he can shut down a good player. That or give the job to the likes of jones.

armo has had a great game and I tip my lid. His fitness and ability to get to more contests has been impressive and the tackles shows his willingness to work hard.

shame about G but with roo back next week and charlie playing well its short term pain, really G is just the icing on the cake presently.

The defence seems to be playing really well, it's hard to know but there seems to be alot of contests which is a great sign.

important next quarter not just for this game but to see where some of these youngsters are at. If they can keep up this intensity for the ball and man they will push for round 1 selection.

Krock or SEN

I actually feel a bit breathless watching this. I know it's only a pre-season game, but it's the reigning premiers, and we have real hope to beat them. Imagine the morale boost if we win, not to mention new memberships!

Maxie, Bakes, Jones, Gilbo getting a lot of the ball doesn't help, as their skills aren't terrific.

But Hudghton is playing a great game - not only because he's had a bit of the footy, but he's killed Hawkins.

Chivers, Connors, Steven, van Rheenen all yet to get a disposal.

Rix during the 2nd quarter...Handballs to a team mate and stands still while a Geelong player runs around him to put pressure on the ball carrier. This demonstrates that he is not a natural footballer. A footballer would instinctively give the handball off and shepherd the ball carrier.

Blake...too many handballs to players under more pressure than him.

Both he and Rix are Patsy Clines when we play a team that puts a bit pressure on. (For those young 'uns...Pasty Cline's big hit was "I Fall To Pieces")

Armitage, Kosi, Baker, Dal and Gram are all doing well.

Great intensity from the Saints that quarter...Skills are not there yet...But it is only February.

In their defence Conners and Chivers dont look like they have been on the ground.
