No fear for Saints in Cats clash
7:08 PM Fri 22 February, 2008
ST KILDA would normally have something to fear in playing Geelong.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
But the Saints don't believe in fear.
St Kilda didn't train on Friday but arrived in the nation's capital looking fresh and ready to take on the premiers.
The squad spent Friday afternoon locked in team meetings before Saturday's game that is expected to be played in fine, mild conditions at Canberra's picturesque Manuka Oval

strange article....with a full side Ive never feared playing Geelong - last year for that game we shouldve gone in at half time in front - we had the play to do so but poor conversion was telling. Yep we got out classed in the last half with what was lets face it an undermanned side......but I dont fear Geelong...
I did fear Brisbane at their peak...that was different...

I have only one troubling memory of a game vs De Puddies. When Sammy Hamill lazily stuck his knee up, with the aim of hurting the udder fella, rather than just get the footy. It ended his career. Other than that we go well agin 'em.

PS We should beat them today with 10 of their Premiership team out. A good test of which team has the depth.
where both afl teams and where all professionals in a professional compitition we shouldnt fear anyone.
