C. Mooney comments on S. King's new colours

Post: # 522110Post Ball_Breaker »

From the Age on Thursday:

King's former teammates were happy to see their former skipper get a second chance with the Saints, Mooney said.
"Its great to see him out there playing . . . it wasn't so great, I guess, to see him in those colours, but its great for Kingy to be out there playing footy," Mooney said.

Made me raise my eyebrows. A bit nervous are they the Puddytats? Or does he simply dislike St Kilda? He might have said the same if Kingy was playing for the Pies or the Bombers, who knows. Anyway, I reckon deep down they will know we can beat them.

Pfft long bow - all he was saying was that he wuld have preferred his mate in Geelong colours playing with him.

Beat Geelong? Why would they think that? They are premiers, we didn't make the eight.

I know which shoes I would rather be in.

Lance or James??

There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

I'm not really thinking about tomorrow. Don't really care - all I'm saying is that we were neck and neck with them until last year, when they had everything go right and we were virtually the opposite. They won't have forgotten our ability to challenge them. I'm not trying to make any big statements.

Tomorrow is a practice match. Nothing more & nothing less.

Jeez I'd like to win though

I once spent a year in Adelaide, I think it was on a Sunday.
