hmmm, thatvid is very interesting. Roo looks like he could play this week if it was a real game. Dosent even look like he has any sort of knee niggle whatsoever. I wonder what the actual deal is hmmmm. Either way, looks encouraging.

We gotta get him right, only 3 more years till he is off home to QLD!

I'm repeating a post I've already added to - Nick R will be a Saint for life - has had the Barker Legend & St. Robert Harvey's example (not to forget N Burke's or S Loewes) demonstrated to him.

Did you notice on that clip that Rooey only kicked the ball once, and that was on his left foot. It is his right knee that was strapped. I would suggest that the club is taking NO chances with such a valuable comodity !!

yeah i saw that and made mention of it in the other thread.

perhaps he is some weeks away? who knows.

was heartening that he was running around and attacking that big pad with such vigour though.

We just have to trust the club. Matthew Drain said that he is a possibility to play next week or the week after !!

perhaps give gilbert, c. gardiner or allen a run across half forward this week.

though none of the above is riewoldt they could fill his role until he is ready, imo.

His brother works at St.Kilda now - and his girlfriend is a Melbourne girl. I think he has plenty of reasons to stay in Melb. Loves his teammates to death!! Can't see him going at all - certainly not before his best years have been had in a Saints jumper.
