GEELONG forward Cameron Mooney says team-mate Mark Blake will be out to prove a point in Saturday's NAB Cup quarter-final against St Kilda in Canberra. In what's shaping as the most intriguing individual clash of the match, Blake will square off against former team-mate Steven King in the ruck.

Despite playing 22 of the Cats' first 24 matches last year, Blake was controversially dumped for the experienced King in Geelong's record-breaking premiership belting of Port Adelaide.

"Blakey's got a lot to prove," Mooney said. "He had a very good year last year but it finished in a way that he probably didn't like so he's got a lot to prove to everybody."

i'd say its the opposite. Blake has nothing to prove, Mooney and his team mates have everything to prove. They have to perform to a point that Blake can actually get the medal he deserved last year, if they have a hangover i'd be telling them about it at every turn.
