They should only play AFL games now when it's raining. Slow games of footy are so much better to watch.

did we ever find out how much our sponsership with jen-weld is worth? I seem to remember $6mill over 3 years being mentinoed in the paper a while back....does anyone know if this is true?

It was never official so to say but in several interviews archie and westaway basicly said that.

big deal...not our club so who cares...

they should expect that kind of dough from sponsors due to the brand that the dons, pies et al produce...

we don't however our contract gives us something to build upon and acts as a benchmark for an increased deal if we succeed on the park

Can scarcely imagine caring about anything less than Essendons sponsorship deals.

Why are people fixated on what essendon, Carlton, Collingwood, etc do? If they all fell in a hole tomorrow it wouldn't affect me.

Well it's nice to know that we are cultivating income streams that put us in the same league as the big boys.


The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules. 
They can even WATCH LIVE FOOTY!
