means the new club sites wont be far off
- and on first looks appears to be faster darren- maybe because they don't have those two huge download boxes on the home page.
links are quick also- just checked and sports delivered is handy and clear.
( am working on work system which is ofcourse a little quicker than home.)

and they explain what they are 'attempting to do"
Overall, we're making the site faster, simpler and easier to use. Users told us they wanted quicker-loading pages, easier navigation and improved usability, and that's what we'll be delivering.
So here's a quick rundown on what’s happening on the site for 2008.
What's new now?
* The design – lighter, simpler, cleaner and with a 'newsier' feel
* The navigation – easier to use
* Personalise the afl.com.au home page to get the latest news and videos from your club whenever you visit the site
* Increased usability
* Better cross-platform compatibility (including Mac browsers)
What else is coming?
In the weeks and months ahead you'll also see:
* The return of your favourite competitions – plus a few new ones!
* Brand new club sites
* Video highlight packages every week
* New text and video content. More news and features than ever before, plus new video shows.
* Exclusive, behind-the-scenes videos and articles featuring some of the game's biggest names – giving you unrivalled access to your club and its players.
* Interactive ladders and stats that will allow you to dig deeper into the numbers behind the game
* Opportunities for you to have your say and get involved
* An all-new, comprehensive AFL broadcast guide.

Has anybody seen the link to the NAB match vs. Richmond? I was overseas and only got back on Friday too late to see the match live except for the 4th QTR. All they seem to have put up so far has been the 'end of QTR Wrap". I wanted to see how all the new players performed and it looks like I may have missed it now.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can supply a link to site with a replay.

About time. That thing takes forever to load no matter how good your connection. Even at work, which has one of the fastest conenctions in Aus (apaprently) it still takes a fair while.

5 prelims in 7 years. 40 wins from 49 games.
2009 and 2010 were 2 of the 5 best years ever by the St.Kilda FC.
Thanks for all your efforts Saints.

All i can say is the weight of the new site is amazingly better and after being so bad for so long it makes one wonder whether it was St Kilda's idea of starting their own website that trigered the change.aussierules0k wrote:They kept it sluggish to encourage dial up users to go high speed. Now that they've got most people onto cable and DSL, they can speed it up a little.
Can I access all the information.. seeing as I'm on Optus? Or are we still treated like vermon?

The peanut - wondered that but on checking a few of the other club sites recently they have all promised new sites- so maybe it was all in th4e AFL grand plan anyway.
Mine was slightly slower at home but still faster than the previous.
PS I will be updateing the media links etc as found under http://www.saintsational.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=7
Saintsational web- http://www.saintsational.com/forum/view ... hp?t=28352
But several are still revising for 2008- the most impressive so far is the herald sun " super footy" has skipped ahead of realfooty. with access and content.
