Melbourne's NAB Cup Jumper
How did the AFL let them get away with wearing this against Geelong?
Melbourne are wearing a predominantly white (silver) jumper with navy blue numbers. It is VERY difficult to tell the teams apart on the TV.
One wonders what the Football Director at the AFL does with his day!

Isn't that their proclaimed focus? Becoming a 'houshold name' in China. I seem to recall tehy are even contempating changing their nickname from 'Demons' to 'Dragons' for their huge Chinese fan base.
Marverous Merboone
to tHe Chinese.
How unlucky are we that Paul Gardner barracked for them and not us?

You would have thought they would have learnt after last year with Geelong V Collingwood both in white shorts or St.Kilda V Essendon earlier in the year both wearing equal black and red

I will never understand why people are so strongly opposed to clash jumpers...

Clash jumpers are fine - but so far 90% of the designs come up with are rubbish.Armoooo wrote:I will never understand why people are so strongly opposed to clash jumpers...
Best efforts our candy stripe and Carltons reversed colours, while Esendons fat sash and Richmonds yellow sides are just lazy, and others have gone too far out with the designs and ended up looking like something Pro Hart designed.
Why not just:
Have the predominantly dark coloured jumper teams have thier logo on a white jumper and the reverse to the light guernseyed teams. Problem solved.

If it were that simple all the clubs would be blowing a huge oppurtunity to make some money...riccardo wrote:Clash jumpers are fine - but so far 90% of the designs come up with are rubbish.Armoooo wrote:I will never understand why people are so strongly opposed to clash jumpers...

Plain white jumpers with the club's logo on the front will never sell well, especially with little kids, the only reason why Carlton's is so good is because we're used to seeing the CFC logo on their jumpers...riccardo wrote:Who says the jumpers won't still be marketed?
