Hazelby ACL? !!

Post: # 520115Post Eastern »

Just watching WC v Freo and it looks like Paul Hazelby has done his left ACL (called by Gerard Healey)

Lets hope its not. I don't like seeing any players getting serious injuries !!

Yep i'm watching the game and it didn't look good.

Dam that's 2 in 1 day.

Malceski and Hasleby i hope both guys get some good news when they go for scans and it's a 8 to 10 week job rather than a season

it sounds harsh but those are two quality players...

i think everyone would much rather the poorer ones go down if someone had to

If any team deserves a break it's us that's for sure but lets be realistic injuries happen and i have no doubt they will happen again this year hopefully though theres no serious injuries to key players.

Having more depth will help this year when injuries do pop up

Real shame, I've always like Haselby...
Hopefully it's just a medial...
I would hate to see him and Malco go down in the same round
Both teams are going to struggle without such vital players...

Wasn't Hammil's a medial injury? Hope he's not out for that long if that's the case.

I've done my ACL playing footy. Not a fun thing at all. Knee reconstruction, physio, and unable to play footy again because of it. Certainly hope this is not the case for Paul, even if he is the opposition, still sorry to see someone go through all that, especially considering this is their career.

thats a real shame for him as i got the feeling he was going to really step up big time this year . i love it when things go wrong for freo but not to the extent of injury
