observations

Post: # 519484Post esaint66 »

just two things ive noticed from this weekend off football.

- all the teasm shorts no longer have those afl logo strips running down the side
- and for those watching the carlton v port game i noticed that marc murphey and fev started with orange boots and after quarter time or half time they both ended up wearing white ones

darren pfeffier playing quite well at his old home ground

That Jamison kid has continued his great form into this season...dont know why Carlton didnt elevate him

Thorton is playing as a forward, kicked two goals

Robert Walls is becoming biased...or is it the other guy and Walls is keeping him straight? im not very good at noticing the difference between commentators voices. One of them is YES YES YES for carlton and the other is say now hold your horses

Carlton is beating port but it looks like a comeback may be on the cards. Port's style of play (run and handball) isnt going to work in the heat as their players will obviously get tired.

Scott McLaren looks ridiculous

Carltons #1 draft picks arnt doing fantastic. Murphy is struggling with the lack of support, Gibbs showed brilliance in bits but looks like he may be a Goddard (a few years of waiting) but Kreuzer is acctually very impressive for a first game ruckman. Looks calm with the ball and his skills are exceptional for someone his height.

Fairly close boring game. Bring on Saints Cats next weekend!

geez....walls is a tool....reckoned that fev had done enough at half time and that we wouldn't see him again...used that supercilious superior tone...off course it was bull crap and fev returned after half time....the blue wanted to win i suspect....

crap game though...full of errors...port should have won...and probably would have if a salopek nine pointer hadn't veered into the post at the last moment.....

Was at the Geelong game today - my observation is they have picked up where they left off. Great unselfish team play, pace, skill and fitness.

yeh the trend of footy i saw them playing for a quarter was great and melbournes only goals were well against the flow of play.
