Beau Mcdonald
Has announced his retirement
Am very glad we didnt persue, when many people thought we would in picking him up. Says his body is shot and could never play again
We did the right thing on staying way from this injury proded ruckmen
lets just hope our one in Gardiner stays fit. A much better option that has his head and body in the right spot

Re: Beau Mcdonald
Batnoe, which game is the Harves footage in your avatar from? I'd love to see that. Is the guy a genius or what. Makes it look so easy.
By the looks of the uniform it would be 97-98
One of his brownlow years, and obvioulsy against Carlton
to me for some reason it looks like a night time game in those years
I just liked that avatar, i didnt design it or get it ready for the suitability and size, it was ready for me to choose
SaSaint also has the same i think

Whatever it's from, the guy's an absolute freak, not that we don't know that already.
He's a right hander naturally is he not.
But in the middle of making five Carlscum players look like they're chasing rabbit, he nonchalantly slips in a left handed bounce and then fires off a left handed handball. Please god may he go out with a premiership medal around his neck.

Pretty sure it was at the G. It was the game where after the match Parkin said that they wouldn't have been able to put a tackle on him even if he was in a phone box (for the yougsters that how people used to make calls when away from the home or office before mobile phones!)
