probably considered too valuable in other areas or pigeon-holed as being too tall.

all i'm suggesting is a bit of lateral thinking and would certainly be worth a try

He has played in the midfield quite a bit, not full time, usually just rotations and he has always more than held his own in their, probably shown more as a midfielder than backman IMO...

When did he play as a midfielder last year apart from following an opponent in there.
